Climb Beenkeragh

Beenkeragh is a mountain in the MacGillycuddy Reeks of County Kerry, Ireland. It is the second-highest mountain in Ireland, after Carrauntoohil. Beenkeragh is a popular hiking destination, and the views from the summit are spectacular.

• Beenkeragh is part of the Coomloughra Horseshoe, a challenging 12-kilometer loop that takes in three of Ireland’s highest peaks: Beenkeragh, Carrauntoohil, and Caher.
• The Beenkeragh Ridge is a narrow, rocky arete that connects Beenkeragh to Carrauntoohil. It is considered one of the most challenging ridge walks in Ireland.
• The views from the summit of Beenkeragh are spectacular, and include Carrauntoohil, the highest mountain in Ireland, as well as the surrounding countryside.
